Greg Wilson live at Electric Chair
Innovating DJ, pioneer of the ‘quick-cut’ edit method, music historian and producer Greg Wilson retired from DJing in 1984 after a career in clubs and radio that some credit with introducing electronic music to the UK. He has since returned to DJing and has released Credit to the Edit (tracklisting), an anthology of his favorite re-edits.

update: Greg himself wrote ATLectro with a couple of corrections: the mixes above are not from APT in October as previously reported, and they were not recorded on a reel-to-reel. Rather, a reel-to-reel was used as medium in the making of the live set. I also took the liberty of copying the sets to ATLectro’s webserver. Thanks again to Colin Nagy for hosting them originally, and to Greg, looking forward to the APT set!
